Volleyball Game Preview: Mason Classical Academy Paladins vs. Marco Island Academy Rays

Mason Classical Academy hasn't had much luck against Marco Island Academy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Paladins will challenge the Rays at 6:00 p.m.

Mason Classical Academy came up short against The Village School of Naples on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Community School of Naples came into Wednesday's game looking for another win against Marco Island Academy, but Sophia Ogdin wouldn't allow it. The Rays blew past the Seahawks 3-0 on Wednesday thanks in part to Ogdin, who had 17 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Marco Island Academy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Community School of Naples to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-14.

Mason Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Marco Island Academy, their record is now 11-3.

Mason Classical Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Marco Island Academy in their previous meeting on September 9th.
