The Bloomfield Bombers will head out on the road to take on the East Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bloomfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Bloomfield came out on top against Greece Arcadia on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Bombers took their matchup against the Titans 8-3.

Braedon Smith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Levi Gumaer, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Dredger, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, East strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Geneva 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Bloomfield's record now sits at 3-1. As for East, their record is now 5-0.

Bloomfield might still be hurting after the 10-4 loss they got from East when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Bombers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
