Football Recap: Carthage Takes a Loss

Carthage entered their matchup against Whitesboro on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The game between the Comets and the Warriors didn't end well, with the Comets falling 28-12. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Warriors are ranked 43rd).

Carthage's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Whitesboro, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

As of now, neither Carthage nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
