Recap: Indio Rajahs vs. Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs
The Indio Rajahs won the last time they faced the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs, and things went their way on Friday too. Indio blew past Coachella Valley 65-37 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-14.
Coachella Valley's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Israel Garcia, who scored 10 points, and Joe Beltran who scored 9 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Indio and bumps their season record up to 4-3. As for Coachella Valley, they bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Indio will square off against Xavier Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Xavier Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1042nd, while Indio is ranked 461st). As for Coachella Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Palo Verde Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
