They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wilson Prep Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.
North East Carolina Prep started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-16, 25-13, 25-20.
Wilson Prep found their leader in sophomore My Angel Brimage, who had eight kills, five blocks, and four aces. Brimage has been hot recently, having posted four or more aces the last four times she's played.
North East Carolina Prep's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Wilson Prep, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
