Volleyball Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss

After flying high against Camelback on Thursday, Westwood came back down to earth. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Casteel Colts on Friday.

Kayla Hawkins paced Westwood's offense, picking up six kills. Hawkins got some help from Amelie Caldwell and her 11 assists.

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Casteel, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Westwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Highland on the 29th. As for Casteel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Arizona College Prep on the 29th.
