Softball Recap: Perry Meridian Comes Up Short

Perry Meridian lost against Plainfield on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons fell 4-1 to the Quakers. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Macy Stroud made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Perry Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Plainfield, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Perry Meridian has already played their next match, an 11-0 win against Indianapolis Lutheran on the 9th. As for Plainfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Brownsburg on the 8th.
