Football Recap: Northland Pines Starts off Right with Win over Antigo + How To Watch

Northland Pines took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Antigo Red Robins by a score of 21-14. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 27-21 loss the last time these two teams met.

A big part of Northland Pines' win came down to the chemistry between Aiden Minx and his top target Jacob Beer. Minx rushed for 27 yards and one score while Beer gained 81 total yards.

Northland Pines didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Bryan Droby and Beer.

Looking ahead, Northland Pines will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Adams-Friendship at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Antigo, they will challenge Sturgeon Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
