Volleyball Recap: Addison Comes Up Short

Addison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Quincy Orioles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Orioles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in September.

Addison's loss dropped their record down to 2-14-2. As for Quincy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Addison and Quincy will both be playing Climax-Scotts the next time they take the court. The Orioles will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
