Soccer Recap: Palisades Comes Up Short

Palisades was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves. While losing is never fun, Palisades can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 401st, while Ballantyne Ridge are ranked 142nd).

Palisades' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Ballantyne Ridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Palisades will square off against Butler at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ballantyne Ridge, they have already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against South Mecklenburg on the 1st.
