Meanwhile, Santa Clara hadn't done well against Gunn recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bruins came out on top against the Titans by a score of 3-1.

Santa Clara was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 25-27, 25-16.

Santa Clara's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Lynbrook, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
