Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbus). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Baxter Springs Lions 58-21. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Titans considering their 24-point performance the contest before.

It was another big night for Katy Mooney, who posted 20 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Columbus' points. Brylie Johnson was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Baxter Springs, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Coming up, Columbus will welcome Galena on Friday. As for Baxter Springs, they will venture away from home to face off against Girard on Friday.
