Basketball Game Preview: Peachtree Academy Panthers vs. Killian Hill Christian Cougars

Peachtree Academy is 1-7 against Killian Hill Christian since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Panthers will be home for the holidays to greet the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Peachtree Academy came up short against HALO and fell 56-47.

Despite the loss, Peachtree Academy got top-tier performance from Liam Abraham, who went 12-for-24 en route to 24 points and seven rebounds. With that strong performance, Abraham is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Another player making a difference was Julian Baluta, who posted 11 points along with seven boards and four steals.

Meanwhile, Killian Hill Christian ended up a good deal behind Covenant Christian Academy on Monday and lost 73-54. Even though they lost, the Cougars' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.1 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Peachtree Academy will have to keep a close watch on Ronald Skeete and Dylan Kegler, a pair of players who had a big impact on Killian Hill Christian's prior game. Skeete earned ten points and five steals, while Kegler scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Capers, who had six points.

Peachtree Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Killian Hill Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
