Basketball Recap: Emerald Falls Despite Big Games from Alex Lin and Brian Lin

Emerald played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Pittsburg Pirates, falling 64-43. The Aerouants were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-20.

Emerald's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brian Lin, who shot 46% from the field en route to 17 points, and Alex Lin, who posted 13 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Brian is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Krish Chari was another key player, putting up two points and eight boards.

Emerald's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pittsburg, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Emerald will be taking part in a tournament against Enterprise at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Aerouants will need to watch out since the Hornets have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Pittsburg, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
