Grafton won the last time they faced York and things went their way on Thursday too. The Clippers put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Clippers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Grafton took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-9.

Kenzie Smith paced Grafton's offense, picking up 16 kills. Smith got some help from Olivia Dela Cruz and her 15 assists. Dela Cruz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Grafton has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for York, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Grafton and York will both be playing Gloucester the next time they take the court. The Clippers will host the Dukes at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Falcons will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
