Basketball Recap: North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers vs. North Newton Spartans
North Montgomery won the last time they faced North Newton and things went their way on Friday too. The North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers rang in the new year with a 36-28 win over the North Newton Spartans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargin' Chargers.
Piper Ramey was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Caelyn Carpenter, who posted five points and three steals.
