Volleyball Recap: Andover's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

Andover lost against Eisenhower back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Andover ultimately came up short, they really made Eisenhower work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16.

Eisenhower was led to victory by Taylor Morgan and Klaire Warden. Morgan had 13 digs, while Warden had three digs and two aces. That's the most digs Morgan has posted over her last four contests.

Andover's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-6. As for Eisenhower, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Andover and Eisenhower will both be playing Goddard the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
