Volleyball Recap: Fleming Takes a Loss

Fleming was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 2nd.

Fleming's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Lord Botetourt, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Fleming is set to take on their familiar foe Franklin County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lord Botetourt will face off against rival Northside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
