Baseball Preview: Mt. Vernon Rams vs. Marion Wildcats
The Mt. Vernon Rams will head out on the road to take on the Marion Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Mt. Vernon is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since April 30, 2024 on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Breese Central 6-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
