Basketball Recap: Wadsworth Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 25-25 at halftime, Wadsworth was not quite Nordonia's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They took a 67-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Wadsworth now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Nordonia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wadsworth will be home for the holidays to greet Stow-Munroe Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Nordonia, they will be playing at home against Hudson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
