Soccer Recap: Cook Inlet Academy Comes Up Short

Cook Inlet Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Varsity Opponent. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Varsity Opponent this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.

Cook Inlet Academy's goal came courtesy of Abby Crumrine, who's now up to three this season.

Cook Inlet Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Looking ahead, Cook Inlet Academy will be playing at home against Holy Rosary Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 9-1 defeat against Heritage Christian School on the 19th.
