It was a good run, but Biloxi unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greene County Tigers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Indians came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 13th in Mississippi, while the Tigers are ranked 300th in Alabama).

Biloxi's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3. As for Greene County, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Biloxi has already played their next game, a 67-30 victory against Wayne County on the 27th. Greene County and Sipsey Valley will round out the year against one another at at 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
