Soccer Game Preview: Spotsylvania vs. King George

The Spotsylvania Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the King George Foxes at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Spotsylvania's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Spotsylvania and Caroline meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Knights fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, King George fell victim to Eastern View and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cyclones by a score of 1-0. King George have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spotsylvania's loss dropped their record down to 2-3. As for King George, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-3.
