Basketball Recap: Wheaton Comes Up Short

Wheaton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a blow against the Blue Eye Bulldogs, falling 65-27. While losing is never fun, Wheaton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 595th, while Blue Eye is ranked 229th).

Wheaton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Blue Eye, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Wheaton will look to defend their home court on February 11th against Verona at 6:00 p.m. Blue Eye has already played their next matchup (against Purdy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
