Basketball Recap: Buffalo Takes a Loss

If Buffalo was feeling good fresh off their 70-31 takedown of Clay County last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Buffalo Bison lost 81-56 to the Logan Wildcats on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Wildcats are ranked ninth).

Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Logan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Buffalo will head out on the road to face off against Roane County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Logan, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Logan Wildcats duke it out with the Tug Valley Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
