Basketball Recap: Medicine Lodge Comes Up Short

Medicine Lodge lost against South Haven back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Medicine Lodge Indians might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the South Haven Cardinals an easy 56-32 win. The matchup marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Medicine Lodge's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for South Haven, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Medicine Lodge will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sedgwick at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for South Haven, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 34-21 win against Norwich on the 20th.
