Basketball Game Preview: Ingalls Bulldogs vs. Dighton Hornets

The Ingalls Bulldogs will face off against the Dighton Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Ingalls was able to grind out a solid win over Minneola, taking the game 53-42.

Meanwhile, Dighton entered their tilt with Decatur Community on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Red Devils with points to spare, taking the game 44-30.

Ingalls' victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Dighton, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Everything went Ingalls' way against Dighton in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as Ingalls made off with a 52-30 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Dighton's Lani Speer, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 19 rebounds. Now that she's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Ingalls still be able to contain Speer? There's only one way to find out.
