Recap: Denmark-Olar Vikings vs. Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans
In what's become a running theme this season, the Denmark-Olar Vikings gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Ridge Spring-Monetta, posting a 75-5 win on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Denmark-Olar has managed all season.
Aveion Walker continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 34 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ry'Naisha Barnes, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Denmark-Olar's victory was their 14th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41.71 points. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Coincidentally, Denmark-Olar and Ridge Spring-Monetta will both be playing Blackville-Hilda the next time they take the court. Denmark-Olar will host Blackville-Hilda at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Ridge Spring-Monetta will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
