Basketball Recap: Moises Perez Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Horizon Prep

The third road game was the charm for Logan Memorial Education Campus, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 46-39 victory over the Horizon Prep Lions on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Logan Memorial Education Campus to victory, but perhaps none more so than Moises Perez, who posted 13 points. Adiel Hernandez was another key player, putting up 13 points.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-11. As for Horizon Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Logan Memorial Education Campus won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Monarch at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Logan Memorial Education Campus is facing Monarch at the right time seeing as Monarch is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Horizon Prep, they will square off against San Diego Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. San Diego Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Horizon Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
