Basketball Recap: Sunny Hills Lancers vs. Esperanza Aztecs
Sunny Hills fought the good fight in their overtime game against Esperanza on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 51-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Esperanza Aztecs. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Sunny Hills still got an impressive performance from Ze'Brien Watkins, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 18 points and five boards. That's the most points Watkins has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kamron Tonga, who posted eight points and eight rebounds.
