South Newton is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 34 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against West Central on Friday. They were beaten by the Trojans 52-6. The Rebels were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-0.

Meanwhile, North White fell victim to Bowman Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 30-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 52 points in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

North White's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for South Newton, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-4.
