Baseball Recap: York Comes Up Short

York was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-4 to the Ralston Rams.

Thomas Bonde made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Emmitt Dirks, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

York's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Ralston, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. York is set to face off against their familiar foe Platteview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ralston will square off against rival Blair at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
