Valley barely beat Kingston the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Saturday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by ten runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Valley and bumps their season record up to 10-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Kingston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Coming up, Valley will head out on the road to take on South Iron at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Kingston, they will take on Clearwater at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Fightin' Tigers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
