After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Frenship, Odessa was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-57 win over the Midland Legacy Rebels. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bronchos have posted since November 30, 2023.

Midland Legacy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Diego Rodriguez, who posted 18 points and seven rebounds. What's more, he also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tristine Turner, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards.

Odessa's win bumped their record up to 15-19. As for Midland Legacy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 18-14 record this season.
