Noah Edwards posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits.

Edwards' strong effort led South Granville over Southern School of Energy and Sustainability and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings are a perfect 5-0 against the Spartans going back to April of 2023, a lead they'll look to extend.
