Softball Recap: Ennis Takes a Loss

If Ennis was feeling good fresh off their 15-5 takedown of Lincoln County on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs lost 16-3 to the Troy Trojans on Saturday.

Kahryn Vaudrin was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kayzli Ostler, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

Ennis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Troy, their record now sits at 6-3.

As of now, neither Ennis nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
