Battle Ground Academy extended their postseason success on Thursday against Franklin Road Academy. They blew past the Panthers, posting a 61-27 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Kaedyn Marable produced another solid performance throwing for 384 yards and four TDs while completing 77.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 77 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last nine games he's played. Maddox Porter also helped out as he racked up 152 receiving yards.

Battle Ground Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Will Johnson and Evan Kellum. Elijah Fernandez was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).

The win was the ninth in a row for Battle Ground Academy, bringing their record up to 13-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.9 points on average over those games. As for Franklin Road Academy, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-2.

As of now, neither Battle Ground Academy nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
