Soccer Recap: Barrington Falls Short Against Ranked Mt. Hope

Barrington faced Mt. Hope in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Eagles lost 5-1 to the Huskies. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Barrington couldn't quite close it out.

Barrington's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-3. As for Mt. Hope, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Barrington will face off against rival Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mt. Hope is set to square off against their familiar foe La Salle Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
