North Daviess entered their tilt with Clay City on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Everything went their way against the Clay City Eels as they made off with a 49-28 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Cougars just coasted through the last quarter.

Clay City's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Shidler, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Rhienhart, who had eight points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

The victory got North Daviess back to even at 10-10. As for Clay City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

North Daviess will face off against White River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clay City, they will take on Dugger Union at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
