Basketball Recap: Monterey Wildcats vs. Jackson County Blue Devils
Monterey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Jackson County Blue Devils, falling 78-37. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-41 back in November of 2025.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monterey will challenge Scott at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jackson County, they will face off against Tennessee Heat at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jackson County will be up against Tennessee Heat's rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.15 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
