Crest has gone 8-2 against Kings Mountain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Crest Chargers will head out on the road to challenge the Kings Mountain Mountaineers at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Crest's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 games.

Crest proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 23) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-58 win over South Point. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Kings Mountain was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 61-55 to Forestview. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mountaineers came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Jaguars are ranked 302nd).

Kings Mountain has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. As for Crest, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2.

Crest couldn't quite finish off Kings Mountain in their previous matchup back in January and fell 60-57. Can Crest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
