Basketball Recap: Runge Takes a Loss

Runge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Moulton Bobkatz 92-16. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 86-40 back in January.

Runge's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Moulton, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-9.

Looking ahead, Runge will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Nordheim at 6:00 p.m. Nordheim will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Runge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Moulton, they will head out to square off against Prairie Lea at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
