It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Greene can now relate to. They came up short against the Eagleville Eagles on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Rebels' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Eagleville was led to victory by Campbell Leathers and Presley Knowles. Leathers hit 79.3% for 24 kills and eight digs and one assist, while Knowles had 20 digs and two aces. Leathers has been hot for a while, having posted seven or more kills the last 24 times she's played.

South Greene now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Eagleville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 26 of their last 28 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 42-5 record this season.

South Greene has already played their next matchup (against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Eagleville, they will face off against Gordonsville at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
