West Davidson put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Salisbury Hornets. It was an even better day for Lillian Benton as she scored three goals for her team.

West Davidson pushed their record up to 14-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 60 goals over those nine games. As for Salisbury, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.

West Davidson and Salisbury should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Dragons will square off against South Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (52 vs. 398). Meanwhile, Salisbury (ranked 212th) will meet Thomasville (ranked 431st) at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
