Arroyo's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Gabrielino Eagles as they made off with an 11-1 win. Considering the Knights have won nine games by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Arroyo let Leanne Rosales and Melanie Borgen run wild. Rosales went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, while Borgen went 3-for-4 with two doubles. Those two doubles gave Borgen a new career-high. Valentina Mendo was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double.

Arroyo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gabrielino only posted an OBP of .280.

Arroyo's victory bumped their record up to 11-9-1. As for Gabrielino, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Arroyo has already played their next matchup, a 5-2 win against El Monte on the 16th. As for Gabrielino, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 32-21 victory against Marshall on the 16th.
