Softball Game Preview: Northridge Vikings vs. Utica Redskins

The Northridge Vikings will venture away from home to square off against the Utica Redskins at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither Northridge nor Utica posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Northridge fell victim to Licking Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 16-0 to the Panthers. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Utica also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Watkins Memorial on Friday, falling 12-0. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Utica, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
