Lawrence Academy won the last time they faced Pungo Christian Academy and Carter Hoggard did his part to make sure it happened again. The Warriors managed a 49-43 win over the Raiders on Thursday thanks in part to Hoggard, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Lawrence Academy's record now sits at 6-3. As for Pungo Christian Academy, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Lawrence Academy will take on Columbia in a tournament on Monday. As for Pungo Christian Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Arendell Parrott Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
