Basketball Recap: Jaden Padilla's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Poudre Community Academy over Aurora West College Prep Academy

Poudre Community Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 63-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aurora West College Prep Academy Spartans.

Poudre Community Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jaden Padilla, who posted seven points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Heilan Barrick, who had 13 points.

Poudre Community Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Aurora West College Prep Academy, with the win, they broke their 13-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-8.

Poudre Community Academy has already played their next contest (against Nederland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Aurora West College Prep Academy will challenge Ascent Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
