Football Recap: Florala Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Florala took on McKenzie on Friday. The Wildcats were beaten by the Tigers 56-28. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 32-24 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayden Bradberry, who rushed for 88 yards and two TDs. Gage Davis was another key player, having thrown for 266 yards and onetouchdown.

Florala's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for McKenzie, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Florala will face off against Bayshore Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for McKenzie, they will take on Shields at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
