Volleyball Recap: South Miami Victorious

South Miami took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against North Miami, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cobras had just enough and edged out the Pioneers 3-2. This was payback for the Cobras, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (97-92) South Miami actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 10-25, 17-25, 25-20, 25-19, 15-8.

The victory got South Miami back to even at 1-1. As for North Miami, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Miami will host Somerset College Prepartory Academy South at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Miami, they will be playing at home against Killian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
